I chose this case over dozens of others mainly because I found it the cheapest. In fact, it does just that. It's made of a very smooth material and doesn't look cheap. The pen tray is good, but I don't really see myself using it, mainly because it's going to bother me all the time. However, the holder itself is very flexible and doesn't bother me as long as there is no pen in it. The main reason I gave it 4 stars is that some of the edges were very sharp. There were about 5 places I kept getting bitten while holding the device. I end up trimming off the excess material with scissors, but this allows me to reduce wear and tear on the device, which will cause it to come loose sooner than I would like. The dark blue color is very pleasant to look at. . Not too bright to draw attention but dark enough to be invisible in low light.
