So I tried washing towels in cold water but we just got a new water heater. I think we wired our washing machine wrong so all my towels were washed in boiling water. And they were fine! After drying, they were fluffy and beautiful and still absorb moisture. I actually washed them with the sheets and the towel didn't bleed or anything. I can only speak for gray towels. For absorbency and softness 5/5! I was concerned about buying this set as I don't like thick washcloths. They never seem to foam as much as thin ones. But I had no problems with it, so it's a 5/5 from me!
