I wanted to use it to hang a large mirror, but it (the mirror) broke during transport, so I used it to hang the mirror I wanted to replace in the bathroom . The mirror itself weighs about 20 kg. but the previous mirror was not hung properly, moved a lot and almost fell off the wall several times. I saw this and thought what's wrong with trying this? I'm glad I got this, it fitted perfectly to the back of the mirror, screwed perfectly to the wall, and the handy dandy level was really helpful as my husband and I hung everything in the small half of the tub , so it was great not to have to lug it around for much longer. I will be buying more of these, I need to replace the mirrors in all the bathrooms (previous owners were eclectic, to put it nicely) and I love that this is a sturdy hanger and the mirror isn't going anywhere. I used to use french staples but not for hanging pictures or mirrors and now I can replace some with staples knowing they are made for this application.
