I bought two of these with the intention of removing the cores and using them as pressure ports and screw capping. However, when I received them, I found that the cores didn't unscrew like a regular Schrader valve, so I had to stamp the core and then drill it out in a press. The valve is made of stainless steel parts, so you will need a cobalt drill, which can still damage the connector. So think of it as a valve block, not a valve core holder. If you look at the face of the Schrader valve, you will see what appears to be a regular threaded ridge that can be unscrewed using a standard Schrader valve core removal tool. In this case, this little bridge simply holds the valve core stem in the middle of the tube.
