I've remodeled all my wall panels and installed custom panels on them (to accommodate more things). I even used them at my parents house to update some of their wiring. However, I warn you that the more ports you have on your wall plate, the harder it is to get them all there. I found 4 difficult and wouldn't recommend going past this level. Once you put them in, these things stay fine. All in all they are very good if like me you need configuration options. They make all sorts of port options, so there are plenty of them for every purpose.
