Review on πŸ”₯ Indera Men's Military Weight Fleeced Polyester Thermal Underwear Pant - Ultimate Warmth for Outdoor Adventures by Tim Rushing

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not bad for the price. Fits as expected while waiting for base layer

I'll try to be as detailed as possible. inside they are very warm and soft. The material doesn't stretch much so you don't get a compression fit like UA cold wear, but I also expect them to be a lot warmer. Imagine slim or medium-sized sweatpants with a slim fit. I'm 5ft 2", 138lbs, waist 28, pant length 28, and they are slightly longer on me, 2" max. If you're wearing pants that are 30 or larger, you definitely need a size up. The crotch is a bit long but actually they are perfect to wear at the natural height (belly button area). As for the waist, they'll probably fit a 29 or 30, but they're relatively narrow in the leg, so someone with a wider waist might find the leg too narrow. The biggest annoyance here is that the legs are too narrow so when you sit, the waste goes down your back. When I get up and move it's not a problem, but when I sit down they pull down. it seems unstoppable. That's why I give 2 stars. They should be looser across the leg IMO. I don't have big legs or anything, on the contrary I'm in relatively good shape and have pretty slender legs. The seams are flat on the pants (I have a matching shirt and it does NOT have flat seams but that doesn't bother me). Soft fleece polyester on the inside and woven polyester on the outside. I suspect you'll have to sacrifice a little moisture wicking, but it's better at keeping you warm than waffle fleece. I bought these for cold protection for upstate New York hunting and I think they will be good. A lightweight, moisture-wicking base layer underneath can be a good thing.

Pros
  • 100% Polyester
Cons
  • Not bad but...
