This product is marketed as a self drying potter's wheel clay but cannot be used as such. It is very dense and thick, and it is too difficult for a child of 8-10 years old to work with. It fell apart, didn't stick to the circle and actually looked more like very dense modeling clay than potter's clay. My daughter and I reserved a morning to make a mug for her grandmother. I have experience working on the potter's wheel, although of course I'm not an expert, but this clay was unworkable and was a frustrating mess.
