I bought BRONZEDOG Leather Dog Collar with Soft Cord 12-14 inch Aqua at regular price with no special offers. regular, 1 inch nylon collars. After some procedures and tests, her neck was shaved for blood collection and never grew back. She also has a collapsed trachea, so I needed a collar that would cause the least amount of pressure and maximum comfort. (I don't tie a leash to it, just tags.) She wore it for 4 months; it feels comfortable and holds up well. I don't see the usual patch of flattened, thinning hair underneath. The color was pretty close to what my monitor showed - a nice Mediterranean blue-blue. The texture is very soft and smooth. The downside is that the little loop that's supposed to hold the end of the belt keeps slipping off the belt after it's closed. I bought a different color for a different dog (same tag, different listing, different buckle style) and this strap does a great job of holding the end in place. Conclusion: Fits well, feels comfortable on the dog; Looks very good. Now I'm a fan of turtlenecks.
