One person can truly put it up alone!

I bought this for me and my husband to have an easy tent to take to the beach for a quick trip. We have a big canopy, but it's so heavy and takes 2-3 people to put up. We only take it if we have a lot of people and plan to stay all day. I took this new canopy to the beach by myself (I'm 60+) to try it out. Very easy to lay out. Easy to fill the bags, although I will throw a small plastic cup or shovel in the bag next time I go to make it easier to fill the sand bags. The poles were a little tricky until I figured out the best place to put them. I found it is best to put them right at the corners where the seams for the long arms are. That way the wind can get underneath and treat it like a sail. Another tip, be sure to put plenty of sand in the bags to keep it from sliding and losing the tightness to hold the canopy and poles up. I was lucky that someone next to me at the beach had the same tent, just a bigger size. So I had a little help getting the poles in the right place. But now, I know how to do it by myself. I bought the smaller one to try it out. But I will be buying a bigger one to use with the smaller one when family visits. I'm very happy with it!

Pros
  • Super easy to set up and take down by yourself. Durable in windy weather. Well worth what we paid.
Cons
  • The sandbag anchors may not hold up well in strong winds, making the tent unstable and potentially dangerous.
