Chickadee Approved best in Birds
I bought this bird seed to feed my tits during the winter months. It's a long and cold winter in the California Sierras and the tits are so hungry they fly in your face and if you stretch out your hand they land on your hand and are in dire need of food. Before I bought seeds for the birds, I gave them sunflower seeds and made my own lard. They seem to enjoy it and choose their favourites. The black seeds come last. I chase away the great thrushes (?) because they are greedy and bully the tits.
