All my life I have struggled with scaly big toes and pain that accompanied me during the summer months when I was by the pool or somewhere warm on vacation. I bought these before traveling to Naples, Florida for a week and they did exactly what I needed; They protected the bottom of my big toe from chipping when walking barefoot to/from the pool or even inside the pool (concrete floor + wet feet + long strides = toe issues). They were too small for my foot (men's size 9.5) so I just wrapped them with extra fabric tape to keep them from snagging at the corners and coming loose on their own. Worked great, had no worries all week. However, I would like them to do it a little more.
