Main results: MDF board is very thin, light weight but I would like it to be twice as thick as the parts attached to wood. Part of the outer frame was broken in half before I even opened the packaging and luckily it wasn't the whole item but it does indicate that the whole product was too flimsy for my liking. Sure, it's very light and has a pleasant smell (a bit like burnt wood because it's laser cut) but it was pretty easy to put all the pieces into the holes indicated according to the instructions, installation is another hand was one completely different thing. I think you just have to put it on the opposite side, put your hand on it and put the pieces of wood in the right holes because they don't fit together, take a rubber mallet and tap it CAREFULLY. in place, and even then it doesn't quite fit because some of them are a millimeter longer than other elements, resulting in a less than perfect fit. Then it makes sense to suggest wood glue because you need to make sure it sticks without breaking with moderate use.
