I bought a nurses lapel brooch with uterus pin as a gift for my friend who is an ob/gyn. The pin is of high quality, the enamel coating gives it a shiny surface. It looks stylish on a lab coat or casual wear. The size is perfect - big enough to make a statement but not so big that it's distracting. I'm only giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because the packaging could have been better. The needle is attached to the card in a plastic sleeve but came in a flimsy envelope which was creased in transit. Luckily the pen wasn't damaged. Overall, I would highly recommend this pin as a thoughtful gift for any healthcare professional. It's a conversation starter and adds a touch of personality to the standard work uniform.
