Those little velcros are great! They are firm to the bottom and soft to the bottom to prevent scratches. The thickness is good; They protect but are not too thick to keep tables/chairs from wobbling. Even if they get wet, the sticky petals won't peel off, which is great, and they're easy to dry by pressing a towel or paper towel against them (or you can just air dry them). They work pretty well for other items too - I originally bought these to make a slate cutting board (although we ended up going for larger pieces of fabric), but I could use them for other crafts of the same size.
