The size and tilt options of the umbrella provide good shade for our patio seating. The operation to open and close is smooth and quick. It feels stable and holds promise for a long life. One other thing worth mentioning with this 10 foot umbrella if you are short in stature, reaching the tilt button is a bit challenging. I need to use a small step stool or enlist the help of a taller person.I need to update based on the fade I have experienced in just a matter of weeks. Looking through reviews, I noticed I am not the only one to now have a dusty pink umbrella 🙁. What I don’t understand is that some customers have commented they are pleased that their umbrella has shown no sign of fade…. Perhaps just a bad batch of fabric?Though still pleased with the overall quality, I am disappointed in the color. I have a lounge chair cushion of the same color as the umbrella was that has been out in the summer sun for 4 years now with no fading. I had expected the same from the umbrella.
