Damaged in transit but worked perfectly after a small repair

After a small repair the power supply worked perfectly. One of the power connectors was broken and the wires were exposed. I assume it was at the time of delivery. Bubble wrapped and enclosed in an envelope. The box offers the best protection. I didn't need this power connector, so I just wrapped each pair in electrical tape so they don't touch anything.
