I alternate Hylox and Phycox depending on price. I started this when my yellow lab was about 10 months old when I discovered hip dysplasia. Now he is 5 1/2 years old. His vet recommended Phycox and I found it at Revain at a much better price. If he doesn't eat that gum for a week, he won't be able to move much. I give him 3 in the morning and 3 in the evening to control his pain. He also gets Rimadyl if he plays too hard. I cannot say enough good things about this product and Phycox. I know it's not the same product but they give my boy relief and let him play ball and frisbee whenever he wants. Without that gum, he would be taking painkillers every day.
