Case materials are good but not amazing. The red accent/carving looks great and I love the top handle. On the side, not directly behind. NOW. What completely breaks this coating is the awful smell. It's really indescribable, but it's like a factory smell, but it's been in the factory a few years too long. I left it hanging in the hallway hoping the smell would go away on its own and a week went by and it got better but it still lingers. I'm not entirely sure if it left its smell on the Switch and the dock itself, but I feel like I can smell a faint odor from it there, so I'm not even sure if I want to put it back there . This works well when you thread the cords through the hole and all the way down, they feel a bit tight but not really too tight. I would skip it for something else.
