You can't even find a used $650 lens that smells the quality of this lens

While $650-$800 isn't cheap, this lens is an absolute steal for the quality you get. This is possibly my favorite lens despite its weight. The only downside I can think of is that it's a monstrous lens. But with a great strap (I use and love the Peak Design Slide and it takes all the weight off of it) it doesn't matter. Even without a good strap, the weight isn't an issue as the aesthetic quality the lens produces is amazing. The sharpness and uniformity, even at the edges, is top-notch, and the photos are just je nais se quoi. I'm just an amateur photographer still learning every day, so maybe someone more knowledgeable can pinpoint exactly why this lens produces such incredible images. My top three lenses that I use are the Zeiss Batis 25mm f/2 Distagon T* and the Sony/Zeiss 55mm Sonnar f/1.8. Maybe it's because 35mm fits well between the two distances, but I think what I like best is the quality of the image, which I rarely edit. And this lens is by far the cheapest of the three. It delivers a very realistic yet dreamy tone for low light images and insanely sharp and rich normal lighting. Even in bright sun, there's little distortion, except for the occasional ray of sunshine southwest of center.
