Press perfectly even burgers. This indicates that it can be safely frozen. The problem is that if you keep it in the freezer with hamburgers, it will fall apart when you try to take them out. Even if you spray the cylinder with a spray and I freeze. It started with a small tear, now after about 3 fills it has split all the way down to be on the side. A good idea in theory, but not so good in practice. Was looking for a new press. Disappointed. If you're just making burgers and want to keep them in the fridge all day, that's fine. but not for freezing
