Works. Yes / Yes. I have been using tongue scrapers for several years. My old scraper is made of steel. The first picture compares steel to copper. I have no cons for this product. I like the simple packaging with fun comments on the back. It's thin copper with a small flat scraper end. With this small end it is easier to clean the tongue. The instructions say you have to scrape your tongue about 10 times. I only repeat about 3 times, with a tongue rinse between scratches. You will see this bizarre, sticky, thick mass coming off the tongue. It is in order. Simply rinse with hot water and repeat several times. I suggest doing it after brushing your teeth. Also, disinfect the device with soap and water and wipe with alcohol. I personally feel the difference in taste. My taste buds seemed to wake up. In the morning, coffee has a much more aromatic taste with clean taste buds (just an example). You can really feel the difference in the products after a good scraping/cleaning. Really works. Copper is better than steel? I can't tell the difference. Google says copper has natural antibacterial properties. According to the packaging, it should be changed every 4-5 months. My personal opinion and experience should last for several years with proper cleaning and drying. My current scraper is 3 years old and still looks brand new. I will update if the copper shows any unusual wear. I also think it will last a few years. My family uses tongue scrapers with regular brushing. We recommend them. At the moment I'm going to copper.
