Great for the course!
I would recommend them to anyone who wants to walk 18. I was concerned about buying specialty golf shoes because 1) they are expensive and 2) they are often uncomfortable to walk on the entire course. They fit like regular running/tennis/athletic shoes and are about half the price of many other options. They're lightweight, breathable (definitely not waterproof) and comfortable. I bought them with a separate pair of inserts (which I would recommend) and have been able to walk comfortably for 18 years without breaking in or getting hot spots.
