I bought this to replace a DAS mechanical keyboard which my sweet kid preferred due to frequent spills (resulting in some keys not working even after a thorough cleaning), So I'll start with what I'm gonna say. Look, it's not THAT. It's not an expensive, high-end keyboard, and the price reflects that. BUT - and that's the good thing about it - it's almost done. I didn't get this for the lighting (I've never had an LED/RGB keyboard, never wanted one), but I wanted a cheap board that was mechanical for that oh-so-good typing experience. Honestly it was the cheapest back then and had the best reviews. That surprised me. To be honest I was very impressed. It turned out to be a lot of fun playing with the lights, which I was too snobby to bother with. Keystrokes were firm and had that great Blue Switch tactile click we all know and love (remember it's a bit noisy if you're typing while people are sleeping), and extra features - WinKey lock, Media controls (I really only use the volume), full numeric keypad - everything is fine. The only downsides are mostly subjective for me. I don't care what the font is. Not that it's a deal breaker, just not my style. The backspace key feels dull compared to the others and often doesn't click as well. However, it works fine. Eventually some of the keys play (back again) a bit. You move a little. In that regard, my DAS was solid as an oak. After all, it looks good, prints well, is mostly very durable and also works at higher WPM print speeds. I mostly program with it rather than play games, but it does a great job both for general tasks and for typing "performance". For the price it is absolutely perfect. I am following this company with interest.
