Steal for the price, does what it takes!

Much better than expected. If you need a new set of test leads, you can throw away the meter and use the test leads and still have a head start. This requires 1 AAA battery, which is included in the scope of delivery. As is often the case, the best solution might be to ditch the included Chinese battery in favor of a decent one, like I did, but even so, the ohmmeter part isn't that great, being only rated at 1.5V and not supplied with one is regular. normal 3v to 9v. Don't expect great results when testing electrolytic capacitors. Everything else is acceptable, and the conclusions are much better than the old Calectro I replaced. I still need reading glasses to read that nonsense anyway, and the whole meter was $5 cheaper than the 15v and N batteries my triplet takes. AC and DC voltage ranges available (10, 250, 500 V): not good! I really need something more than 10 and less than 250, maybe 25 or 50. It's difficult to measure 12V accurately for example.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Some little things
