Aren't most rags reusable?

They were sent as a gift direct to recipients as an alternative to paper towels, but the packaging doesn't say how to use them in place of paper towels. I'm sure these kitchen towels make great kitchen towels. For other purposes they seem to be more of an alternative to a sponge, but sponges can already be reused. If someone were to use paper towels as kitchen towels, they would definitely be a more sustainable alternative for them. I use them to dry dishes, so more of an alternative to tea towels, but tea towels can also be reused. I used to use paper towels as a lint-free option for drying dishes when I was in a hurry, so I'm already using less paper towels. I'm also planning to try Febu's window cleaning wipes and wish there were some relevant suggestions on the packaging again. The patterns (printed in China on kitchen towels made in Germany) are very cute. It's not a bad product, but the manufacturer could do better by sharing the best way to make the most of it, which would be really good for the planet and probably good for their business too.
