Review on ๐Ÿน Enhanced SEO: Kaytee Silent Spinner Giant Exercise Wheel - Assorted Options by Jennifer Howard

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Not as quiet as expected, weak.

So I've had this bike for a few weeks. The bottom line is that it's plastic, so you hear the whipping sound of spinning, the pounding of their feet, and most annoyingly, that wobble that creates a thud because there's a lot of space between the cage and the wheel itself. Please note this is in the large version. When my girls run at full gallop, the wobbling wheel rattles against the back of the cage, it's unbearable. So, at 4am, when I couldn't take it anymore, I went into the kitchen, grabbed some diapers, sprayed the wheel and found that I had originally attached it upside down to cut out all the noise by about 50%. to reduce but I have to say that disappointed with the product and I can sleep with little noise. The other residents of the house were actually told to get up at night and close my bedroom door because of the noise. Then pee collects in it which I have to wipe off and when it arrived in the package there were three sharp spots on the outside of the wheel which I had to polish off with a nail file because I'm sure my girls might cut themselves . My greased metal bike was so quiet I thought they stopped using the bike, but they didn't. I got this because of the dangers of owning a mesh wheel. I have to say if it wasn't for her safety I wouldn't have ordered this. Another hint that my girls love it. They're crazy about that thing at full speed, full gallop. I have two rats and only one used to use the wheel and now they are both crazy about this thing. I think 5 stars from the rats. More three stars for me. Update: return! oh so bad i'm so upset. I went to wipe, and the wheel fell right on the wall of the cage! I didn't even push that much, what's worse the part that attaches the wheel to the frame was still attached to the frame! Heck, there's a black plastic clip in the middle that attaches to the wheel and then snaps onto the other part that secures the wheel to the cage! Sorry, but that just doesn't make sense and is completely insecure. In fact, why attach a wheel to a cage when it simply snaps onto the fastener with a small, flat hook in a plastic snap mechanism. Which doesn't even stay on no matter how hard I press it. When I tried to attach it to the cage, the wheel fell out of the clamp. I think one of the hooks is bent and won't snap into place. I don't know if this was made for quicker cleaning, but I prefer to unscrew the cap to loosen it, knowing it's tight and secure when I put it on. It won't take that long. God, a gallop, and one of my rats would fly off the wheel along with the wheel! Now it doesn't really snap into place, so even then I was ready to use the stupid stand, no, it's crooked and wobbles so much. Why is this thing so unstable? This bike isn't worth $10. A short video is included to show what I mean. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong but it doesn't hang anymore anyway and I'm very disappointed.
