IT WORKS! I was a bit hesitant to buy an alternative adapter but so far this works very well. Performance is good, my phone was at 15% at 9:29 and about an hour later around 10:30 my phone was at 87%. I would say if you charge from 0% it takes about 1:45. I've seen reviews stating their adapters are starting to heat up, I don't have any heat issues. All the time the charger and my phone are at normal temperature. So if you have heat issues maybe ask for a replacement as the one I received has no heat issues. Overall this is a great adapter, even if you already brought an Apple adapter you can buy one as a backup in case you lose another one. I like the price and overall it works.
