I needed to fix something in my car. Control box cover on the dashboard and a hole in the upholstery. I removed the control box cover and rebuilt it using this tape. Very nice results, easy to do. Cut the sheet to size and place it over the hole in my car seat fabric. The hole is the result of seat belt wear and decades of use. It's spring now, the sun is shining brightly and some days it's already 80F. It's very hot in the car and the glue on the tape doesn't like the heat. :-(. The tape on the steering cover might be ok. Wait and see as the summer daytime temps climb to the normal 110F. The tape on the upholstery has already peeled off after a day and then three and left a mess. I think it's tape can be suitable for places with light loads and temperatures comfortable for a person, but not for places with high temperatures or high wear.
