Easy installation (on my Dyson DC17 one screw has to be unscrewed). Vacuum cleaner manufacturer Dyson told me that the HEPA filter never needs to be changed because it's built to last a lifetime - LESSSSSS! My vacuum cleaner used to smell like nasty dog hair all over the house and I didn't even know it had a second (HEPA) filter. Changed both filters and viola for the first time in 11 years, the smell is almost completely gone. I used to only flush the second filter as recommended, but trust me if you have dogs, change both filters every few years. My hepa filter had a layer of thick, disgusting old dog hair blown back into my room. Now I have a happy wife and home, and I'm a hero.
