Good ties. PROS: They hold securely and can hold quite a bit of hair. They come in a resealable bag that you can just toss in your luggage. The fabric seems to be worn for a long time before tearing. These are really good hair ties for ponytails. They are probably the best because they have a good grip. I love plain black and white for its simplicity. Not good: With my coarse curls I have to be careful that I twist them twice. The fabric on them opens up when you straighten them to lay them on your hair. Then the fabric covers part of the hair. No problem for finer/smoother hair textures. If I wrap it around a section of my curly hair multiple times, don't pull it off right away, I might pull out some hairs. These are not satin ties that slip off instantly. I wanted to use them to "stretch" my natural hair. They will work just fine, but like I said, I have to be careful removing them.
