My Vlando Retro "Lockable" Wooden Jewelry Box arrived today, and I was so excited to open the shipping box. The beautiful, white Vlando box that everyone has raved about in their reviews was dirty and smudged. Strike one. I opened the box and was extremely disappointed to discover that the dust storage bag (which was also raved about) was not covering the jewelry box; in its place was a cheap plastic bag. Strike two. The worst part about this product experience is strike three - there was no key for the lock inside the jewelry box. I searched high and low for it. No key. My entire reason for ordering this particular item was for the "lockable"' feature. I am really, really disappointed. The jewelry box itself was really nice, but to not receive a featured key, and to receive a dirty white Vlando box without the dust bag.I don't know what else to say. This was a complete fail on behalf of quality control.
