Review on Minka Aire F843 DK Ceiling Control Distressed by Kimberly Wells

The fan just arrived today, so I can't say much about performance. Very disappointing :( I'm still debating whether to keep it as it's definitely different than the photo! I was expecting it to be plastic due to the weight and durability so no surprise. However the nice is aged Koa wood finish in the first photo on the Revain website is not what arrived What arrived was a dark smooth walnut look that really looks like cheap plastic At first I thought it should be in a different wood grain be, and it was a mistake, but the box only says "aged koa wood", white or silver. So. The company changed the finish and forgot to change the picture. Too bad. Update: Ours ordered 36 inch bottom bar came and IS in a "disaster" finish (very nice) but the fan doesn't fit Again a bummer. There are pictures from other reviewers if you look very closely you can see and one make an informed decision
