This is a nice piece of jewelry if you think it won't fit in your garage. This is the size of our front window, not the size of our 2 car garage door. Sure we could tape the edges and center them in the middle of the garage door, but that would look tacky. The folks here who say they used it on their garage door should only have a one car garage so they can hook the zip ties through the corner grommets (no grommets other than the corners) and tape them to the back of the garage door secure in place. Aside from the garage doors, they are made from a thin polyester fabric that dries quickly after rain so you can still use them outdoors I think. However, it is better to use it on an interior wall as a tapestry. This allows you to use it for more than one season. Especially if it's windy/rainy in your area, I don't think this will last more than one season outdoors. An interior wall, on the other hand, quickly creates a festive atmosphere.
