That does not work! in safety
I have tried this item on both the top of the door and the side of the door (as shown in the photos for the item). The protector bent/collapsed so much when closing the door that the door was almost completely closed and you could get your fingers caught. Doesn't do what it's supposed to and protects your fingers! Don't waste money.
