Almost impossible to assemble. It would be difficult for the average person to come together. My husband is a mechanic and we still spent an hour putting it together. The company sent the wrong screwdriver for the screws. We had to use influence and our own tools to bring it together. If you don't have a power tool I wouldn't recommend it. The directions are incomprehensible, instructions zero, only pictures with arrows (the picture quality is terrible). They also had instructions in the wrong order, in the end you have to take the two pieces apart to assemble the steps. It does not make sense. There are definitely better brands out there. They only offer a $50 gift card for a GOOD review, so clearly they have a problem with customers who don't like their product.
