I bought my 6 and 10 year old sons a pair of these sandals this summer. We bought this exact pair for my oldest son last summer and it worked so well I bought him a size up this year and added a pair for my youngest son. This summer they have been to many different cities on various trips and my boys have never complained about chafing or not wanting to wear them. They're quick and easy to put on and tough enough to run and even hike in. They love them and they are super cute too! We will buy again next year if we need larger sizes!
