Works best as intended in an hour meter
I bought this to track how much heating oil I burn per month. I connected it to the fuel solenoid as the boiler has pre and post combustion. The wiring to the solenoid gives an accurate indication of how much fuel is being used. My motivation for this was to measure the heating costs in comparison to additional electric heaters. So far this year is a draw, but let's add a compelling factor. A simple mechanical meter running on 110VAC is fine.
