Review on KLOCK Werks Flare 2014 2019 Super by Adam Martinez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The 1/8 " left to right gap of the center bolt is fixed in my review

I have a 2018 Harley SGS. I am 5.8 years old. I installed it first and had a gap left and right so I looked again at the instructions and it says to hand tighten the outer screws first, each one is equally tight but the problem persists until I apply a little pressure the edge exercise screen. By flexing it a bit, with my efforts of applying pressure to the fairing and tightening left to right, I was able to close both gaps. It's tricky but the windshield fits, you need a little work to make it perfect. As for riding now why didn't I get it sooner, it feels like a different bike, more comfortable at higher speeds over 50+, no more helmet bumps and now I can hear my standard radio very clearly. I give 5 stars for the quality, I didn't want to choose a 30 euro alternative that doesn't even come close to standard in terms of safety and quality. Klock Werks should update their instructions with some troubleshooting instructions. If people have the same problem as me, I didn't think 1/8 inch spacing was normal, yes it's difficult but don't give up, I went back and started over. and follow the instructions so that there is still a gap in the wedge, leave the screws loose, hand tighten, apply a small buckle force evenly to each end to make a crooked arc, and pull tighten them with your left hand at the same time. To keep the pressure on the trim, do it. In case you are facing the same problem as me
