Pretty good. I have an insert (medium size) that fits in this bag to make its capacity much more efficient. I'd be lying if I shortened the shoulder strap so I could double brace all the straps so the bag doesn't lose its handles like it so often does: planned obsolescence! We hope this bag does the job that a good bag should do. Meanwhile, the bag's large flap reminds me of the large shoulder bags carried by Grace Kelly, Princess Diana, and other fashion icons, so this is a fun bag. The leather is soft yet supportive and the feet on the bottom allow you to stand up while browsing. Very useful and nice feature. Worth the $29 I paid for it.
