Having been a road cyclist for 30 years I know a good phone mount when I see one. This mountain is fantastic. I love it so much I'm buying three more for all my bikes and scooters. It also encourages me to look at what this company has to offer in terms of vehicles. Features: Quality through and through. Much better quality than you would expect at this price. Ballistic Plastic. The metal handles are thick and well made. Everything works precisely. With this thing, your $900 smartphone is safe. I installed my S8+ and Note 8. Both were very secure in each "cradle" at the four corners. Bonus tip: you clasp your hands in each corner and then press the lock button. Make sure you insert each lever firmly into the corners of the phone. Then lock the switch on the back. The phone mount attaches to the handlebar mount very securely. And the handlebar mount comes with the expected rubber strips for you to attach the handlebar mount. I feel a lot better with this mount than any others I have such as the ones where you stretch rubber bands around each corner. . These metal locking knobs are far superior to any of them. Bonus Tip: No matter how secure I am with this mount, I still attach my phone to my bike with the strap I attached to my phone case. Should the mount ever fail, the lanyard could save the phone from disaster.
