Prepare the drill

After two days of screaming like crazy we put it together. The holes for the large screws to mount the drawers weren't big enough, so I had to drill holes a little bigger and deeper to get the screws in. As a result, the boxes were of course tarnished (corrected with a black Magic Marker and not conspicuous). I was disappointed that the measurements didn't give a true reading for the countertop. It's actually 27 1/2 times 17 3/4. The table top is good wood but I wouldn't use it as a chopping block, the grain is wrong and I would have to sand the surface to ruin the aesthetic. The drawers are small but fit our wooden utensils and spatula. It holds my large mixing bowls on the interior shelf and large glass measuring bowls/tumblers. We have a KitchenAid stand mixer on the countertop and flour and sugar containers. I really wanted a KitchenAid cabinet because it's very difficult to lift and move and I'm a baker. It seems fairly durable and is easy to move or lock. Initially I gave two stars for assembly because I had to use a drill. Although I initially gave a mediocre review, we love it. This freed up the workspace and I can easily move or lock it. This made a big (positive) impression in the kitchen. Wheel lock repair --- not very good. Otherwise I recommend!
