Let's start with the only negative: the smell is a bit unpleasant. It's not flavored; it only smells like ingredients or an empty bottle of olive oil (but not that strong). After a minute, however, you won't notice the smell. After a day of use, I hardly notice the smell anymore. Everything else about this product is pretty damn good. Made with natural and certified organic ingredients, the balm is easy to apply, fragrance-free making it likely safe for sensitive skin, easy to carry in your purse or pocket, and won't irritate your nose or surrounding oily or itchy skin. When I get sick, my nose immediately becomes inflamed and cracked from blowing my nose; I applied it in the morning when my nose was so sore it was about to bleed - that same evening the skin healed a bit and the redness and pain went away. My nose was still a little scaly, but the next morning the flaking was gone. This is a wonderful product and I would recommend it to anyone. It's way better than trying to put lipstick on your nose (in terms of smell/texture/healing) and more effective and longer lasting than lotion. I currently apply this balm to my nose in a thin layer about 5 times a day, but will probably reduce to twice a day as I recover. I really love this product. If you are in a warmer climate, be aware that this will likely melt on you.
