In the first week of use, the lining under the document cover came loose and started falling out every time the cover was opened. The included software is suitable, but not for home use. No printed documentation other than the installation poster. It's probably serviceable, but not for a scan novice, and the questionable quality control evidenced by the self-removing document cover speaks for itself.
