This design was awful. They don't survive water immersion and barely withstand exposure, the batteries sucked, sometimes for a month sometimes a couple more, 2 only did it for a couple of weeks. I must have bought at least 6 of these in the last 8 years and none of them ended up lasting even a year. All from different companies but with the same design, probably made from junk in China, and each company writes their name on them. Luckily speaker and bluetooth technology has caught up and there are MUCH better products now that make these products feel like what they were, first generation rental technology. If you are looking for a quality shower speaker then look no further than the Anker Soundcore Motion B or whatever model they are on as you read this. Avoid these models in general (small round "waterproof" speakers) and especially any model that looks exactly the same, only there are at least 6 on Amazon (each with its own name). However, I wouldn't be surprised if each of these round shower speakers had the same junk inside. I've always been a ham radio operator at heart, before that I always had an FM radio in my shower. I'm glad technology has finally caught up and you can actually find reliable Bluetooth shower speakers now!
