It's big and heavy and can be very strong. If you look down the front of the jack where the handle is fitted you will see 2 springs, one on each side, held in place by a very flimsy looking welded pin. I have a feeling one of them will break first. The roller bearings seem to be missing, they work, but for how long? I tried the jack on arrival and slipped it under my F-250 to raise the front wheel. He lifted the truck, but the grip took a lot of strength. I bought this jack to replace a small 1 1/2 ton jack I had for 20 years. The little jack was much easier to lift any load including the same truck. I will keep this jack as it would be very painful to return but I don't think I will last 20 years with it. Before buying this jack, I looked through a lot and read all sorts of reviews. There are a lot of them and most of them have very bad reviews, if this is the best there is that's pretty sad.
