Ok I bought 2 of these because I want to have a backup. The first power supply lasted about a month ago when the cable started having problems so I threw it away and plugged in the second one. It was almost 3 weeks before I tried to burn down the house. I got home yesterday thinking I left the oven on and couldn't figure out where that strong chemical smell was coming from. I didn't discover this until I got this Chromebook and found it had advanced cancer. Don't leave these things plugged in.
