Review on ERZA SCARLET Wide Tooth Comb: Natural Green Sandalwood Wooden Comb for Curly Hair/Beard, Minimizes Snags, Static, and Tangles by Karyn Garcia

Small teeth not suitable for natural hair 4c

I bought this after a natural hair guru recommended ONLY using seamless combs. I have a wide tooth dollar store shower comb with some seams, but the natural hair community is in love with seamless combs, so after careful thought and consideration I bought this one. I searched Etsy and Amazon for weeks before settling on this one. However, the teeth of this comb are so close together, seamless or not, that it is not suitable for thick, tightly curled hair. I ran this comb through my damp and untangled hair 4c ONCE and a tuft of hair was left in the comb. I hesitated to leave a review because I didn't want to be unfair to this company. The comb itself is fine, it just doesn't suit my needs. I'm not sending it back because I've obviously used it and it's natural for me to return something like this after use. But I would not recommend you to buy this if you have 4c natural hair. I never lose hair when using a big toothed comb. Seamless or not, use wide-toothed combs.
