This product is one of the best upgrades I have ever put on my ATV and is a must on the trails when riding with others. Winches are great and serve a purpose that Tiger Tail should never have competed with. It's the towline that every ATV rider knows, but it's retractable. Have you ever towed someone just to leave the rope tucked under the tire when they're hurtling forward faster than you? Not so with the Tiger Tail, which pulls in and takes up the slack rope when the person you're towing unhooks and catches up with you. Then when you're done hauling with the traditional rope, you have to stop and wind up all that dirty rope. This is not the case with the Tiger Tail, it does it on its own and the retracting friction lifts most of the dirt instantly! It holds constant tension and works surprisingly well. When not in use, the hook has a convenient storage hole that you can snap into. It was covered in dirt and grime while we rode it, but it never got tangled or anything like that. To clean it, I point a jet of hose at it and unroll it, then let it retract. Cleans rope and wheel in less than 15 seconds. Rope is a thick synthetic material that will last for years. I'm a big fan of this product and think it's a welcome leap forward in towline technology. And for the price, you should invest in this rather than a makeshift system.
