So much better than glass! No worries about it cracking, it fits just about as accurately as it could, we use it for heat even more so than the illumination so it's fine that it doesn't hold the heat in as much. we can feel it make us warmer quicker for sure. The only thing is because the holes are so dark and close together it takes away a significant amount of light. And it started burning kinda nasty all around the top, not sure if we were supposed to treat it before using it? But whatever! I'd never go back to glass after having this!
