I use it to fence off that part of the house where my dog likes to run around at night or when no one is looking. He likes to use the potty when he shouldn't. This ALARM CLOCK is VERY VERY LOUD and has a variety of sounds to choose from. Every time my dog wants to go into that part of the house it beeps and we know someone has activated motion detection in that area. It's loud enough to scare my dog away and blame it on avoiding it. This product works like a charm for my dog and it is a very versatile product and the motion detection is very good.
